Chromogranin A

Chromogranin A is a protein found in blood; high levels are used to diagnose cancer of the stomach and intestines that secrete serotonin (a hormone), cancer of the pancreas, and lung cancer or prostate cancer. High blood levels are also seen in people with heart, kidney, or liver failure, or even excessive stress.
