Heavy Metals Panel
Test panel

A Heavy Metal Panel is made up of a number of blood or urine tests that measure blood levels of metals present normally in the environment, or as the result of occupational exposure, or from accidental or deliberate poisoning. The most commonly tested heavy metals are lead and mercury. The test results help your doctor to determine if you've been exposed to unusual concentrations of these metals or have concentrated them in your body. The tests can identify the metal involved and to monitor how well you are responding to treatment.
